We operate an e-shop on the website eshop.workidesign.com.

For the provision of our services, the sale of goods, and the operation of our website, we process certain personal data.

A. Processing of Personal Data When Using the Contact Form

For what purpose?
We use these details to contact you for further arrangements regarding our goods and services.

On what legal basis?
This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiations regarding the contract or taking measures prior to the conclusion of a contract at your request.

How long will we process your personal data?
If no further cooperation is established, we will process your data for a maximum of 2 years from our last communication.

B. Processing of Personal Data in the Case of Purchase

If you purchase from us, we will work with the data you provide, primarily billing details such as your first name, last name, address, telephone, and email.

For what purpose?
We need to process these personal data in order to fulfill our contract – to deliver our goods or services to you. We also use your contact details to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, complaints, or any inquiries.

Additionally, we process your personal data to comply with our legal obligations (primarily for accounting and tax purposes, as well as for handling complaints).

On what legal basis?
This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of the contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with our legal obligations.

How long will we process your personal data?
For the duration of our service provision and thereafter for 2 years from the last instance of service provision or delivery of goods.

C. Newsletters (Commercial Communications)

If you are a purchasing customer and have not opted out during the purchase, we will use your email address to send you our news and updates.

On what legal basis?
This is permitted under § 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, provided you did not opt out at the time of purchase.

How long will we process your personal data?
For 2 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via email or by contacting us at info@workidesign.cz.

II. Who Has Access to the Data?

Your data remains with us. However, certain companies or other parties have access to your data because they assist us with the operation of our e-shop. These include:

  • The operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., with registered office at Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00 Prague 6, Company ID 289 35 675; registered at the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25 395)
  • Companies involved in the shipment of goods (e.g. Zásilkovna, GLS)
  • Companies participating in processing payments (via Shoptet)
  • The provider of our e-mailing service, Mailchimp

We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.

  • Our company does not have a designated Data Protection Officer.
